Services were at 10 a.m., Thursday, in First Baptist Church of Hornbeck, with Rev. Doyle Carpenter, and Rev. Roy Dowden officiating. Burial was in Prewitt's Chapel cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of Hixon Funeral Home. Survivors are his wife; one son, Ernest Pridgen of Hornbeck; one daughter, Margie Bridges of Hornbeck; one sister, Mrs. Leona Brown of Hornbeck; and four grandchildren.".
